I have crashed out on day 9. I am obviously not too pissed as I can write this but I have crashed out.

Tonight I have had 2x G&Ts, three glasses of red wine, two glasses of white wine.

Is it not a sad case that I can still write after drinking that amount.

I can tell you that this amount is not that much, that is why I can still write. I can usually do in a bottle of white wine and a half bottle of gin. I can then get up and go to my work.

Don't get too down on yourself, you said yourself at the start of this thread that you have been drinking for 20 years so it's going to take more than 9 days. I am certain that most of the people on SR have had several false starts.

I'm on day 50 and as you can tell by the time of post that I'm not sleeping well yet- but it does get better.

I was going to suggest, before your most recent post, to get rid of the Sherry, I know even cooking sherry would play on my mind.
