Day 3 Dream
I had the most vivid dream last night that I went to a party and everyone was drunk. The boss kept trying to sleep with the employees wives. Someone got shot. Then the shooter laid on the back of a horse in the bar and shot himself. My date disappeared and came back really drunk and wanted to drive home in his fancy race car. Someone was eating a two foot long snickers bar and dripping chocolate. My skirt kept falling off. I was the the only sober one. I went to the bar to call for a taxi and the bartender said, "Lady, you need to go home... you don't belong here".
Seriously. That's the shortened version but doesn't take a dream reader to see what my soul is telling me.
I feel HAPPY today that I'm at 3 days. Last drink was Sunday. YAY. And I'm not drinking tonight!!! AND I'm thankful I have someplace to post this.

Wow..what a wild dream. Well I suspense if the dream you can avoid drinking in that senerio, then the awake you can take on anything! Lol.
I haven't had vivid dreams for years, but the other night I dreamt about falling in love. It was so sweet and nice. When I woke up I tried to force myself back to sleep and back to my dream.

I always end up going in the kitchen for Milk and cookies to shake the imaginary feeling.

Day 4. Yesterday I found myself stopping by my girlfriends house. My drinking girlfriend. Just to say hi. 
She automatically grabbed me a wine glass and set it beside the one she was already sipping from. I let her grab the bottle of wine before I quickly played the tape forward to me having to drive to the store to get another bottle and said...ok yelled... 'NO'I'm not drinking. The look on her face! I visited for 30 minutes and went home and made dinner. This morning I'm very proud to say I passed up my first real outside temptation... that us. .. O food to myself. Day 4.
Thanks everyone for the comments and that I know someone will be here in the morning to hear my success getting through the evening without my dear old friend chardonnay. I miss her at night but glad we didn't hook up the next morning.
