Is this normal

Hi everyone, 45 days clean today and in the middle of paws, feeling better every day, good news is my wife and many other people are saying I am looking great and dark panda eyes nearly gone well to my point,,, every evening around 8-9 pm when I would normally be propping up the bar,, I get tremors in my mid drift and some shakes in arms and legs as if my body is screaming for alcohol, it is getting less and less as time goes on and was wondering if anyone had a similar experience, have a nice day, night, evening wherever you are, thanks in advance.

Congratulations on 45 days sober.

It might be a good idea to check with your dr about the tremors.

Hey there Carlingford, congrats on the 45 days!

Yes I think this is normal. Sounds like the anxiety that PAWS comes with is breaking through when you have a triggering event perhaps like when your mind remembers the calming effect of the alcohol. Generally I've had small tremors over the past 4 months being sober, but they have subsided quite a bit. Only time they seem to come back is when I'm having some light or moderate anxiety.

Glad to hear you're doing better as time goes by.

Thanks Anna, Soberwolf and Plure, met with doc last week and he decided to get my bloods done, had them done this morning and will know results of most things this week, so hopefully all ok, and its just PAW SYMPTOMS!! I continue to feel better and don't want ever to drink again, my next mission to quit the cigarettes, step by step feeling good thanks everyone XX

Great work on 45 days. Our bodies all react differently to the removal of alcohol, glad you went to see your doctor to get things checked out.

For me it took several months to start really feeling "normal" - if there is such a thing after decades of drinking. But a lot of the weird stuff simply takes time to heal.
