am I experiencing mild DTs or just paranoid?

I was in the er the other day (Saturday) & I didn't entirely mention my past drinking or anything cuz I was there for seemingly unrelated issues, but now I'm wondering if perhaps what I'm experiencing is some mild dts. Ive had a low grade fever since Friday, my body shakes a lot but I can control it sort of. It could just be that I shake when I get really anxious too. Oh yeah & my anxiety is through the roof still. I feel dizzy, like I'm going to pass out some times. I just don't know what my body is doing & I need this hell to stop. This is my 11th day sober & I really thought I'd be in the clear by now.

Congrats on day 11.

I would go to the dr and be completely honest. I was scared to tell my doctor the truth but she was completely understanding and supportive. They are there to help you

It sounds like some kind of withdrawal but it could be a virus/bug. Its weird we dont get sick when we drink or not very much then that first month or so you get a cold, stomach bug etc. But I agree get some routine blood work done and go from there.

By 11 days you would normally think that acute withdrawals would be done, but it's better to be safe than sorry if you are worried about it. Please be honest with your doctors too, while they can diagnose a lot of things on their own, it's difficulty to help if you aren't forthright about what you've been doing to your body.

Try not to worry too much. And, do talk to your dr.

Congratulations on 11 days of sobriety.
