My Liver
My Liver
Just got my blood tests back and everything is normal!
I went to the hospital with anxiety about my liver while detoxing and was told I had Alcoholic Hepatitis. I was sent home with a prescription to help me detox and an appointment to follow up about my liver. Later that night I went into full on DTs. I ended up at different hospital for a full ICU detox. They told me my liver enzymes were high but coming down.
Just talked to my GP about blood tests ran two weeks ago and everything is fine. I was told to just take B1, which I already am.
It's really good I didn't do any permanent harm to my body but also kind of scary to not have that obsession anymore.
Anyhow, here is to healthy(ish) living.
101 days and chugging along.

I was in the ER once with alcoholic hepatitis. They gave me an IV and an ultrasound. Liver readings were high. Then they said go home and don't drink. Waste of time really but they indirectly helped me by keeping me for 7 hours until 2am and shops/bars were closed. After a few weeks recovering, I decided that it would be better to switch from vodka to beer. Brilliant....
