Celebrate accomplishments!
I decided a week ago that I no longer wanted to drink. I came to the realization that I could not just have a drink and be done. I wanted to give actually being sober a chance and I am proud to say that I have not had a drink in a week now!
Best part of all, I was on a cruise the last 4 days with booze all around. I even went to mexico and was able to turn down every but of alcohol that was offered. I was even being offered tequila to finalize some shopping deals.
It felt good to be able to turn all this down. I have not felt this good in a long time and I am excited as to how I am going to feel the next week!
It can be done and it feels good! I just need to boast because I am proud of myself and want everyone to know!
