What age were you when you took your last drink?
Just curious.
Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend!
Darn it. Was going to attach a poll and it went through without one!

But I will share a couple others I know of.
Lady 28 years sober and turned 42 at the time I heard her give an open talk.
Old man 83 years old and i was there On his 4 year anniversary.

Hey D,
I think our bodies in late thirties, forties, and beyond react totally different than late teens, twenties, even early thirties to alcohol. The increasing severity of hangovers and next day anxiety was something that instigated my quitting it. I think, physiologically, something happens where the body stops processing it the way it used to. Our aged bodies cannot deal with it I suppose. I was just wanting to test out that hypothesis I suppose?
Essentially, I was just bored and curious.
Actually had a big craving today after work which I'm still working through. Sucks. Still early too. But I ate and am in PJ's already and bitched to a friend so that helps. Maybe I thought starting a thread would help keep me on here and check up on it back and forth all night? Kind of lonely tonight.
