Age of Last Drink (for those with over a year sobriety, please)
Started at 15 finished for good at 35 after taking a long hard look at the previous 20 years of drinking. I figured I can give 20 years sober a crack. Sort of gels with my OCD thing for evens and equal... Would have liked to start and finish on evens but hey.
I agree with some others that at mid 30's you get a frozen moment in time or something where you see back with clarity and see what going forward might be like if you don't start changing it up, even though it would be so much easier to keep kicking that can down the road.

54. I am seeing the early /mid 50s demographic overrepresented here I think. Just in case someone younger is thinking that their time surely hasn't come yet because they are so much younger than that, consider this: we each of us surely wish that we had become sober at your age.
