Feeling anxious?...TALK about it!

Hi SR.

So yeah...this past week i've been feeling anxious/angry etc...The whole freaking week. Was NOT fun.

The thing with me and feeling this way...is it needs to be let OUT. Or it comes out in various ways.

A) Me being angry/upset with everything my GF does.
B) Me being angry/annoyed with people needing help at work (I work in IT Support)
C) Me just stewing in a negative head space that seems impossible to get out of.

D) My head telling me...Hey drinking has taken this away before...

I went to my aftercare session last night...And basically let loose.

I am ANGRY. Why am i angry? Whom am i angry at? If i don't deal with these things i am doomed to fail.

This builds resentments. It will poison me. It will lead me back to drinking.

This week was terrible. I stopped working my program and had a horrible time. But letting loose last night at aftercare has lessened the weight.

I felt better almost instantly. TALK.

I'm glad to be back to 1 month sober today. It has been work.

But if i focus on TODAY. I'll be OK.

Just today.

Thanks SR.

Congratulations on reaching your 'monthiversary' and also well done on being able to let it out rather than 'drink it out'.
