Intro

Hi everyone, I just signed up for this site. I decided to quit a couple of weeks ago and am hoping to get some encouragement and make some sober friends as I do this. I have been I guess an on again and off again binge drinker all of my life and am finally sick of all of this. I am ready to quit this for good and I know from all I have read that it is a long journey. I see just about everyone else is in a similar situation to some degree.

I have made a few half hearted attempts to quit before but this time I'm truly ready.
