It takes awhile, Pink, but it will get easier. Stay on course and you'll get through this.

Everything will adjust with time, the more we move away from our old habits and create a new Sober lifestyle, the actions, the thoughts, even the dreams will subside!!

Hang in there!! Day 19 is fantastic!!

We drank for a long time. That is now part of us. Drinking dreams and thoughts are common occurrences. They have no power over your actions, they're just thoughts.

I dreamed it was Saturday (drinking day usually started about noon till 3 am ish) that my AV told me to get a few cartons (a carton is 24 beers in Australia) then I was posting on here coz I did not want to hear my AV
Thank you so much guys for all your help it feels the more days I'm sober the harder it gets glad I can see my therapist today and start our Cognitive behavioural therapy plan soon.
Thinking of joining plan recovery group in town (non religious version of AA) but it's only on Mondays

Drinking dreams are common but they will fade. I chose to believe they didn't mean anything. I still dream about high school and Uni...and this old shopping centre (I have no idea why either)

Doesn't mean I want to go back there
