I almost feel like I drink too much to belong here...
I'm glad you decided to post.
I really don't think it matters how much or how often you drink. If alcohol impacts your life in a negative way, then stopping drinking is a great solution.

I understand completely the anxiety you feel...followed by the need to calm it with more wine. I can promise you one thing - the anxiety goes away! That "heart pounding can't catch your breath ohmygod I need a drink " feeling actually goes away. Have faith in stopping, and just try it.

How about comparing what you're drinking to what you used to drink, Dreaming? Did you start out with two 1.5ml bottles of wine in each "session?"
Before I first got sober many years ago, I was drinking a few beers. Then a six-pack. Then ten-to-twelve beers. Then I added a couple of shots, then a few shots, then I drank everything in sight. When I relapsed, I was up to two liters of vodka every day.
As others have stated, the amount we drink pales in comparison to what we do, what we don't do, and what happens to us while we're drinking, including the effects on our emotional lives and our thinking. Increasing tolerance only means that we continue to drink, and often to drink more, despite the consequences.

I drink two 1.50ml bottles of wine a day. I want to quit but I'm not sure if this is the right place because it seems like a lot of you drink less then me. I never thought even 1.5ml bottle a day was that much. I don't even get hangovers anymore from it even when I drink 2 bottles. The only after effect is extreme anxiety. Which the only way to fix is with more wine. Ugh. My name is Dreaming123, and I'm an alcoholic.
Your last sentence sums it all up.
Hello Dreaming
Good Morning Dreaming,
There will ALWAYS be someone who drinks more/less than you. Take my case for example...
I drank 7 days a week without fail, it did not matter if I was hungover that morning or felt great, by the time I got off of work I was ready to drink. My typical weekday routine was to polish off a six pack of beer, have 2-3 glasses of wine with dinner, and then pass out on the couch after 3-4 STIFF whiskey and diet colas. Wash, rinse, and repeat Monday through Friday.
Then we get to the weekends...my drinking would start between 10 and 11 am and usually end up going through an 18 pack of beer, followed by wine for dinner, and an even larger amount of whiskey that evening (since I did not have to worry about going to work the next day).
In short, you are in the right place, you will find all of the support that you need here and even though you will most likely not ever meet any of us on here, you will be amazed at how quick you "get to know" people.
Take it one day at a time, you got this!

Hate to tell you this but the way you drank wouldn't have even been a good start for me.
As others have said it is not about how much or how often it is about alcohol controling us not us controlling alcohol
