Drink Change.
Jim I think of you so often, like Dee I regard you as a mate of mine.
Consider Dee's suggestion, why not come here each day and post? All of us want you in recovery Jim, one post each day could do so much, it's been my salvation.

I understand what you are feeling Jim. Every time I drink all I think about is suicide & giving up. It's the alcohol...not you or me. YOU don't want to die & neither do I...but the alcohol sure wants us BOTH dead! Please don't give up. I'm struggling too & I need a friend to get thru these early weeks with.
Hi Jim. I am so sorry things are bad right now. The March 2013 class misses you and would love to see you back with us. Whatever path you choose to sobriety, please keep posting...you can see how many have posted here to offer their support because you are a good and decent person who deserves a future free from alcohol and depression.

Hi Jim,
That feeling of desperation and darkness is very familiar to me, as it seems to be for my fellow posters on this thread. One thing I know to be true is that self-medicating doesn't help in the long-term. I have diagnosed mental health problems and used alcohol to take the edge off whilst combining with medication. Thing is, it's not really living, and you've done a month sober so you know how different life can be without drinking.
I definitely dislike early sobriety, but a month sober is a huge achievement and having a slip up like you've had isn't any reason to discount your accomplishments. Like Dee said, why don't you try posting here maybe once a day? Getting a support network has helped a lot and we're all here to listen to each other and help.

Thanks Dee. I use this site and antabuse but I still keep going back to it. I really want to stop but can't.
