Good morning!

I haven't logged on in a few days, but wanted to share my little victory.

I made it 15 days as of Sunday and am on day 16 today. I know I am at the very beginning, and entering some of the harder days (the justification, the AV). BUT, this is my longest sober period in probably 10 years. It's just a start, but one I am proud of. Every day is easier in some ways, and harder in others, but I'm feeling good.

Thanks for the support everyone. I won't drink today.

Weeks three and four were pretty tough for me but oh so worth the effort. You're building some momentum now.....so stay vigilant.

Hi and congratulations, keep it up.

A couple things that helped me was to keep the focus on NOT drinking instead of drinking.

Next is the fact that if I don’t pick up the first drink one day at a time in a row I won’t have to TRY to get sober AGAIN
