crawling in my skin

I am on day 2 of being sober. I feel like curling up in a ball and just crying. I know that recovery from opiates is possible but it seems so out of reach right now. Barely slept last night with all the sweating shakes and sadness. Just want it to be over. Counting my blessings.....

You've got this. You can do it! When I was going through withdrawals I had a YouTube playlist of things which inspired me and I put it on every night till I fell asleep. I really recommend as I found it so comforting.

It is possible and you can do this. Once you're done. Is there anyone who can hang with you for a night?

Thanks again for your kind words and support. I never knew how much it can really make an impact. You guys are awesome and just knowing I'm not the only one going through the this helps so much. I'm still going to fight to the end with this addiction I just pray I'm strong enough this time. I will try the YouTube videos for sure I am doing anything I can to keep my mind off of it.

I don't live alone I live with my boyfriend and my two daughters. I really don't have time to be sick because they do rely on me so they definitely keep me going. Some days I don't want to keep going I just want to shut down or even be able to. I have to be strong for everyone and it is one of the hardest things I have to do.
