300th day of sobriety
Here I am at day 300 still wondering how I made it this far working multiple stations on a line in a busy restaurant and living with a gf who is a daily habitual pot smoker through sunrise till bed time. Well if I can do it to all those who are still struggling or starting over you are not powerless! During the blizzard yesterday when I was getting pounded with 30 inches of snow in Hampton NH, I was contemplating smoking because I was bored out of my mind and wanted to relax but I soon forgot about wanting to have that feeling. Then I just thought how far I've come and what a waste it would be to it all slip away because of a blizzard. This coming Tuesday I go in for my deviated septum surgery and get to spend my paid vacation recovering in my apartment! Not what I had in mind for my vacation but my health is what's most important right now! I'm just excited to finally be able to breath right and have a good nights sleep! The one setback is I can't do any lifting at the gym 2 weeks after surgery. So after that I going to have to hit it hard to get back to where I am now. Either way good things are on the way ahead 65 days away till my 1 year!
