Hey

You know, some disappear. We wonder what happened. Are they sober, or no?
I love you guys. I'll be gone for a bit. I am not sober or in recovery. My head hurts. Thanks for the support Good bye.

Thanks for checking in. It's good to know that the idea of recovery still crosses your mind. God is the answer.

I've been here just for a bit, but I remember reading some notes that you had wrote. You seemed very stern to me and I didn't like that! But, you know what? How I took some words you wrote, how I imagined your tone or sarcasim. That has aided me in my 10 plus months sober .....I hope to hear from you soon! THANKS

Pam the saddest part of this is that you are losing days of your life while you know how being sober changes your life for the better.

I've got challenges at the moment in my life. A close friend of mine died suddenly in early January, he was 59, the same age as me. My husband's pain medication worked for three days and now it doesn't work anymore, this is pain medication through a patch, he's done all the oral medication possible. My 88 year old mother can't hear with her hearing aid.

Drinking will solve nothing, perhaps not drinking will make no difference, but by not drinking I can think it all through and make decisions.

I wish you well Raider.

If you continue to drink, all your problems will get worse.

Pam!! I think you are having an F it moment. It's ok.
I did the same once, even asked to be deleted by the admins.

Until one reached personally, and told me only my pride was preventing me from being here. So I listened, put my ego aside, and came back. That member most likely saved my life.

Looking back, it was my little voice screaming out for help and some much needed attention. The more you wait and drink the weaker your voice will become, the AV will run your life, and death. And don't worry, your AV won't even cry or attend your funeral. All it wants is to ruin your life. That sounds evil doesn't it? Well Alcohol belongs in the pits of hell.

Rambling here, love you and be kind to yourself please. And come back posting, good or bad we are here!

Glad that you are alive. Sometimes when people disappear I fear they might be dead. I'm not saying this for shock value... I really mean it. We will be here.
