hi guys, 29 days today
 

I feel good for the 30 days. Last night was a little rough. It was my wife's birthday and her kids came down. They are 19 and 21. So they get drunk, the 21 year old and my wife. I went to bed early, mostly to get away. They wake me up at 11pm with the loudness of drunkenness. Than I'm the bad guy for not wanting to have set with her. Drunk people, big turnoff. So now this morning everyone is sleeping and I want to wake them up so loudly this morning. Anyway I survived.

Good job on surviving an evening with drunk people.
I had a party a few weeks ago and was sober while everyone else was drunk .... it wasn't easy, I was practically getting the wine poured down my throat. I was called every boring so & so under the sun, it wasn't easy.
Well done on 30 days.

I'm on 26 days and have fortunately not had to be in that situation (divorced, live alone)

Maybe after seeing you not drink they might see that your serious about quitting
