OK, so day 5 now and I woke up this morning feeling like HELL. Like a hangover from a 3 day binge! What the heck??? No I didn't touch a drop.....actually had a great day yesterday. I'm at work and I feel a little better but still feel hungover, this is SO bazarre! I reached out to a fellow AA friend who laughed with me on the phone about this, she is 6 years sober and said she remembers feeling like crap several times, but it didn't last long. Meeting tonight, AA meeting for all women, looking forward to it.

I have no answers for you, but the same thing happened to me a few days ago. I really focused on my hydration and by the middle of the afternoon I started to feel normal.

We abused ourselves for a long time, most of us...it takes a little time for our bodies and minds to recuperate...

early recovery has a lots of ups and down packfan - do stick with it...

every day forward is a day closer to the good stuff

THANK YOU ALL! You got me through a mini meltdown!
Glad you're here!
Gent who turned out to be my sponsor told me when I got my 24 hr chip this - Put it under your tongue and if it melts you can drink again.

You never have to go through this pain again!
When I went to my local AA I told my wife - if I go, everyone will know I have a drinking problem.

She laughed and said - honey they already know. When we admit were alcoholics it becomes unanimous.

Keep going to meetings, gain some time - your so worth it
Yes, inevitably meetings give us a lift!

Kind Regards,
