It's a slow process, but at 17 months I notice my retention, and brain function, are a lot better. I also drank for over 30 years, with a few breaks.. I'm also somewhat worried about dementia and Alzheimer's. The aerobic exercise should help, along with a heart healthy diet. And using it of course...

It gave me a new perspective on people with intellectual disabilities.

It is not permanent for us, it gets better and it's something to be grateful and humble about....

Keep staying stopped!!!!

Nofear that is just crazy! I couldn't imagine. Our house got hit by lightening once and the answering machine started smoking, it was the only thing still plugged in, but no one inside was affected. To have that happen and walk away is just incredible to me. You are both lucky and unlucky! Wow. That must of rocked your world and changed your perspective! For all that energy and electricity to come down out of the sky and right into you! That's intense.
