meds

So I deal with depression & anxiety too. A new Dr recently put me on a different drug regiment (free samples so far)today I found out there is one prescription that costs $775 after insurance! I feel good but there is no way that I can afford to pay that much. In the past this news would have sent me running for alcohol to drown my sorrows. But being sober I can make decent decisions, we'll find a cheaper alternative drug. And I know that getting drunk is not going to solve any of my problems.Feels goog to have a different outlook on life! Thanks,Mike

I believe that you will be able to find a generic match or a much cheaper alternative. Don't feel that you will not be able to manage your depression/anxiety. Talk to your dr.

if you get a 3 month supply through a mail order (not sure if you are in the US or what insurance you have) but that can give you a significant savings. Also is there a generic drug for that? Usually if there is not generic drug your insurance give it to you somewhere between generic costs $10 and non preferred brand name...

That's a ridiculous price!! Don't realise how lucky we are having the NHS in uk sometimes!! Hope you find an effective, more affordable alternative xx

Way to turn your mental thoughts into a positive. I need to refine that skill.

Some drug companies will help defray the cost of treatments if the patient can't pay that much. If the medication makes a good difference for you it might be worth asking the company about any program they might have like that.

775?

Are they diamond encrusted?

Good for you for looking into alternatives and avoiding alcohol
