In early sobriety I used to distract myself when I had bad cravings by taking my dogs for a walk. That was a win-win situation. We all got some exercise and fresh air, the dogs got to check their peemail, and I stayed sober!

I used to drink at home, so if I was really craving, I had to go some place else for awhile and do something like shopping or going to a movie. Working out and yoga is really great too.

I went for a drive and listen to good music. Then I just quietly sat and listened to my craving let it know I heard it, but wouldn't be drinking today. I made it to bed time sober, yay me!

Thank you guys again for the help.
