14th day and flirtin with temptation
in about 1 hour it will be two full weeks without a drop. it's been a while since I've gone that long for sure. I decided to go along with my wife to her friends b-day dinner. it was either that or stay home with the kids who were Already driving us both nuts, we let them visit grandma and grandpa instead.
we stayed for three hours and I resisted all temptation to have that "just one beer". that afforded my wife to have her once in a blue moon drink. it drove me nutty a Lil but wasn't all that bad. the guy sitting across from me wasn't drinking either.
now I am at home, just finished a slurpee and some popcorn about to hit the hay.. here's to waking up tomorrow with two weeks under my belt.

Awesome man.. 14 days puts you past any real physical cravings.. it's all emotional and mental triggers from here out, and it looks like you're doing well with that part. Keep it up!

Two weeks is excellent. I didn't always like going to social events where people drank when I first stopped. Keep fighting those urges. It's not always easy, but life will get better and better.
