2 weeks today
Hi guys,
Well here I am at 2 weeks sober. My sore leg has improved and I have walked on treadmill, biked and lifted weights this morning. Wahoo! feeling great!
I was very interested in the reading I was doing yesterday about opinions on whether to keep counting days or not. I realise this is a personal decision, as is the AA or not.
I think I go with the not counting although it certainly helped this far. I want to be able to live life without continual thoughts about alcohol and AV in my head. For this reason I think I'm going to go with the stop counting stop thinking about it and just be a non drinker. No explanations just "I don't drink alcohol"
The other person can spend their time wondering why / why not if they wish!
I will still use this site as my best friend, although I may not post every day. I feel like I'm running out of things to say. I do still enjoy catching up with what you are all doing and will certainly still be here using your valuable experiences and information.
Anyway, thanks for your continued support, It's amazing

Congrats Leb and I do love your way of thinking. I was just watching a show and one of the stars was a former reality personality who is now in recovery. He said that he told his now wife when they first met that he was sober and nothing is more important than his sobriety. Him and you both inspired me today
