Day 7
Day 7
Got up this morning feeling rough again, like i had no sleep.. pigged all day yesterday , mostly on chocolates from xmas.
Today, the chocolates are hidden, have been eating well apart from the chocs. Need now to buckle down and get my exercise back to what it was.
I am concerned that i am still just over 8 stone in weight..8.3 to be precise.
My normal weight is 7 and a half stone. i must explain, i am very petite, 5,4 tall and size 6-8. Time to motivate! Have a good and positive day all..

Well done on 7 days.
I barely ate first few days/weeks then my appetite came back with a vengence. I ate what I wanted until I started to feel mentally and physically better.
Worse things in the world than pigging out on chocolate! Be kind to yourself.

Congratulations on seven days, whitehorses. You are doing this!!!!!!
There will be lots of time to focus on your weight in the future. Sobriety's exponentially more important.
Rock on, whitehorses.

congrats on 7 days
I agree with everyone else, try not stress out too much about the weight thing right now, early days. Just try to make healthier food choices and light exercise. Your body is going to need some time to heal and adjust
it's ok to splurge a bit right now, you deserve it.
My treat to myself everyday is a smoothy that tastes like a dessert but it's actually all healthy.

We're all right behind you ! ( I'm on day 5 myself) . What I can't believe myself is how my own body has added weight in the last few years and I barely eat anything. I can imagine our bodies will be going thru a very confusing period now that we have chosen to nurture them with real food , instead of loading them up with toxins.
You go, girl - I'm sure you're looking a heck of a lot better than you did 7 days ago, even if you don't feel like it sometimes

Congrats on your day 5 Belle.
I wish I had a way of checking my blood sugar, because right now, I am so craving sweets, which I am sure is a withdrawl symptom of some kind.
I wish you the best weekend ever, and If you need some chocolate to get thru it, more power to you, hun !
One full week - well played there
Is a craving for sweet things quite common for people who quit booze?
I ask because I have noticed too and having a sweet tooth was one of the few vices I didn't have
