So i bought some white beans and spinach and am making a nice vegetarian stew for lunch nom nom. Just going to pop out for a long walk whilst it's cooking away Hope everyone is doing well today xx

The stew is looking great! Another hour to go and it'll be ready. I'm so excited about trying new recipes in my crock oven. I've wanted to buy one for ages but always thought they were expensive... they cost approximately 5 glasses of wine... i feel like an idiot.haha x

Glad the stew was good, ML

Congrats on 10 days, you're doing great !
It's amazing how much we spent on booze without a second thought, isn't it ?

I even have savings now

Way to go! I'm in the double digits now, too.

Slow cookers are great. As a single guy, I find myself using it all the time. I had a piece of round steak and didn't know what to do with it. No grill. If I fried it, I'd be chewing on shoe leather. So I threw it in a crock pot with lots of garlic and worcestershire sauce. The next day, I had the best "roast" I've had in years!
