First Business Trip and Almost 60 days!

So I'm away and during the entire drive my AV kept trying to convince me that it would be no big deal to drink, "you're by yourself, no one would know" Well except for ME of course! However, I'm at my destination, went out to eat, had great sushi and hot tea and now here on SR. I'm feeling great and happy knowing I'll wake up feeling awesome! Friday will be 60 days of sobriety and I am so glad I am giving myself the gift of freedom and joy! Thank you all for all the posts. I check in often and reading them help me get through the day!

That's great- congrats on facing the challenge. I'm guessing that you're in an environment where you used to drink, being away on business. Sounds like the sushi and tea were far better than drinking.
The posts here are great. They get me through as well.

Good job! Isn't it so ridiculous that the AV will tell us "no one will know" ?
