Don't wait til next week Stewy - see a Dr right away.

You're not thinking straight right now.

I can guarantee there are no answers in drinking.

Do something for yourself - be proactive - just don't drink.

Stewy, drinking is not going to help your depression and will only make it worse. Please see a doc ASAP.

Proud of you for not drinking, Stewy. I hope the meds kick in soon. Sending hugs and support.

Stews believe me any antidepressants and alcohol are a recipe for disaster. It makes the anxiety ten times worse. And your back at square one waiting for the meds to work again.

Good job on not drinking, stewy. I know you're feeling terrible right now but if you drink again you will feel even worse after the fact. Drinking will bring you further down into the hole, you know this.
Can you get outta the house, go see a doc in the ER, go to a meeting, anything other than take a drink.

You can do this stewy, and we are here for you. Stay on this site all day if you have to, that's what I did this past week and it helps!

Things have not been good today either

I just can't seem to find the motivation to do anything.

I came back to bed at 2pm, it's now 5pm. Had nothing to eat all day.

What do I do guys? How do I get out of this situation and get better? I'm ready to fight this but I need support

Stewy, can you fix yourself some soup? Canned, boxed or otherwise. You need some nourishment.

Try not to worry about accomplishing a great deal; set one very small goal for each day.

Have you thought any more about going to the ER or A and E?

Can you get GP appointment? Have you considered AA?

I'm sorry you feel so low.

Why not set small goals for the next few hours. Get out of bed, into a shower, eat something nice, watch a film. Do things you enjoy.

This was suggested by others above. I went to the ER or the first available doctor on the same day more than once in my life when I was feeling very weird, crazy, desperate and scared. They always helped me. Even if not with meds, simply just the act of doing something to take care of you can be very relaxing psychologically, and I'm sure they would have good suggestions for you. Don't wait for your GP, if you need help today, get it today.

Great job on not drinking and posting a lot here, but I really suggest that you get some local help asap since you don't seem to improve significantly with what you are doing right now alone and with virtual support. Don't be afraid of it, doctors are there to do their best to help!

Thinking of you
