Screwed up!
Drinking really snuck up on me. No hard liquor. From wine at nite with my hubby, to sneaking during the day. Even at 11 in the morning at the computer. One thing I did right, was eat with drinking wine. Planning to do this all month. then we shall see, maybe weekends. I almost lost the man I love, this past weekend was a nightmare. I asked my husband to bring home some red, he did and thru a fit. I told him, to say you're strong ,you can do this. but he didn,t. he bought it, and went ballistic at home. We were lovey dovey the next day. I have to do this! Cherie

Hi and congratulations on seeing a serious problem with drinking.
I hate to rain on your parade however, anybody trying to moderate their is almost always doomed success wise. Many have tried, few have succeeded for much of a period of time if they are alcoholic.
Abstinence though tough is the way to be sober. This can be accomplished with reading a lot of posts here, going to AA or the combination.
The emphasis is we don’t drink one day at a time in a row and KEEP COMING.
BE WELL
Hi and welcome Edwards
I lost not one but two relationships because I could not walk away from my one primary overriding relationship - the one I had with booze.
I had to learn I was one of those drinkers who had to pick one or the other - loved one or alcohol.
Be smarter than me
