Day 8

Good morning, Well it is in New Zealand!

Now on Day 8 and have decided to try and focus less on alcohol if possible. Though I must stay vigilant.

The thing I want most is to go through life without thinking about alcohol all the time.

Now trying to replace alcohol thoughts of drinking or not drinking with other things. Like I think I 'll exercise, go for a walk, have a cup of tea etc.

I want to stop thinking like "I'm not drinking what else can I do" Other people don't live their lives around constantly thinking about whether they are drinking or going to drink. It's time alcohol was put in its place in my head. That is last of all.

Anyway that's the theory, Stay strong everyone.

You can get rid of the obsessive thoughts. They will go away as you move forward with your recovery.
