Day 2 today, didn't have too much trouble sleeping yet woke up today with a mild headache. No urge to drink even though i usually pound a couple before work, makes me proud of myself. Working as a server makes it a tad bit harder cause that's all my coworkers want to do after work explaining to them my situation is shocking to them. Yet im doing this for me. That's all that matters!

Yes i am doing this for me and my family as i know they worry the most. I told myself im not gonna say I'm quitting but to just do it. Thanks for the kind words!

Keep at it, Linus! You're doing great! I work in a restaurant, too. I feel you about the co-workers and drinking after work thing. It's never "let's go get some coffee" or "who wants to go see a movie?" Always with the drinking. Even at 3 or 4 in the afternoon, if the shift is over it's drinking time!
