I am new and still unsure how all of this works but I was interested in on line meetings. I do not want to go to a local AA meeting. I don't want to be recognized. Is this how everyone feels or just me?

I wouldn't worry about being recognised in AA, because we are all alcoholics as well.

Yes but if I went to a local meeting in person...I couldn't bear to have someone in my community see me or hear my story

Friday would be good for me as Friday is the only day of the week that I drink...I am a Friday alcoholic...once in awhile I deviate and may drink on a Saturday but I am a regimented drinker.

Good morning! I am looking to join the Tues and/or Friday meetings as well. I'm only on day 2 but have had 6.5 years sober in the past. I used AA initially but I am not going back. I will try to be there Tuesday evening. I look forward to it. Happy day all!
