1 week sober
 

Hi everyone,

Seem to have got over the dip of yesterday where I was feeling a bit ho hum about everything. I feel much brighter again today. Can you feel down after a high with exercise?

Anyway I guess the I could exercise every day and make that a regular part of my life. Hopefully it will help fill the gap left by not drinking and also give me something else to focus my thoughts on. That's the plan anyway. I also need to be more creative. I used to paint and draw so have bought some art gear and see what happens.

That's great! I think you should get back to your painting and drawing and enjoy yourself. And, exercise is a great way to feel better about yourself and your life. I'm glad you're feeling better today.

Well done! And honestly, I think everyone who gives up their addiction has to do something with their time. When I stopped drinking, I couldn't stop reading, I just read and read and read haha. I wish I was more creative like you! Well done again and what do you usually paint and draw? It can really help to vent emotions
