Ready for change
Hey everyone. Just checkin in. I will have 2 days sober in about 7 hours from now. I had an allright day. I got in my daily cardio even when feeling a little fatigued. I'm about to do some yoga and then have dinner with my husband. He has been very supportive! He has helped me cut back on my drinking nights immensely. Now he is supporting me in taking the plunge to abstinence. I hope everyone is having a great evening!
Thanks Bliss! I have been exercising pretty hard core every day since I was a teenager & I eat a vegetarian diet, & I take vitamins. So, I'm hoping this means I have a leg up. During my last attempts I have only really gotten fatigue, night sweats, and a couple of mild panic attacks... then again I have only made it through 4 days :-/ (several attempts) I'm hoping this time it's different. It feels different. Thanks for the advice! I'm trying to stay positive.
Well, tonight marks night 4 for me. It's a BIG night! When I wake up in the morning it will officially be the longest I have gone without a drink in 3 years! *****! I am sort of treating it like a game in the early stages to make this more fun. I put cool star stickers up on my calender to mark each sober day. Have a wonderful evening everyone.
