I can't believe I gave up. I am so clueless what to do.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start again x hugs xx

Stop, throw booze out, eat, sleep and start sobriety over :)
Perhaps some face to face support might be useful in addition to the virtual support of SR?!?!?

Kind Regards

the first thing to do is to get rid of any remaining alcohol - dump it - pour it down the drain, then come back here.

Findingtheway 01-10-2015 08:46 AM

Call someone. A friend, AA, 911 if needed.

You need to remove the alcohol now, and get away from the place you are drinking it at.

Just my experience. Coming to SR to post is a good step but YOU need to do more. NOW.

You came here, so you aren't giving up. Hang in there and get sober. You are in control, not the alcohol. Think about what another drunk weekend means.

SoberLeigh 01-10-2015 08:52 AM

Please pour out whatever is left, chloe.

There is only one good and viable option; recommit to sobriety.

You can do this. Start by making this only a bump on the road. Pour out everything left in the bottle and in your home.

Nofearnobeer 01-10-2015 09:08 AM

A) Chuck out the rest
B) Take a nap
C) Wake up in a few hours
D) Grab some coffee
E) Come back here and have a chat

You can succeed! We want you to succeed! Beat it back like it's the worst monster you have ever fought...

You can do this , even if you need to scream at the top of your lungs..

You got this , and SR has you!

You've gotten lots of good ideas, and I hope you decide to stop drinking.

Time to be less scared of AA, and more scared about the path you are headed down if you keep drinking.

Plus, there are other methods to get sober besides AA. But none of them entail waving a wand and making drinking go away. They all take work, take committment, take acceptance that you can never, ever, drink again.
