Ahh , I love waking up without the death hack...

Ahh , I love waking up without the death hack...

Seemed like every day I was drinking, I'd wake up hacking , heart pounding a billion beats a minute , head pounding , dehydrated and just pouring sweat...

This has all but disappeared this last week....

Family used to always think I was going to wake up dead some day soon...

Well, I have to work till 9PM today , but up at 6:30AM , fire going in the living room fireplace , cup of coffee and talking with you fine folks this morning...And not one death hack or headache...

No , the headache will start when A: The kids get up , or B: When i start work...But that's normal..

Well, at least you have a good start to the day! I love my quiet early mornings.

Hey,

Hangovers were the reason I stopped. It wasn't even really a choice anymore. I couldn't take one more! Doesn't it feel good to wake up now?

Mornings are the best, free from pain, free from guilt.

There's nothing like sober mornings. For me, it's no more fighting the daily vicious cycle of anxiety, bathroom "issues", racing heart/palps, and jumpiness. Good riddance.
