Documentary on alcoholism in young people

I was searching on You Tube last night, looking for a video about alcoholism and came across this documentary out of the UK about young people and the effects drinking has on them.

Initially I didn't like the video with all its loud music, bottles of booze in clubs and people out partying it up and then switching to scenes of young people who have had varying issues with alcohol including cirrhosis of the liver and liver transplants (at such a very young age!) and pancreatitis ... even death.

I was thinking to myself, well, good grief, alcoholism isn't something you glorify and show people how "fun" it is, this is SERIOUS STUFF when it becomes an issue.

As I got further into the film, I realized how clever actually the filmmakers were by the way they mixed the "fun, party times," with the realities of serious addiction. Because it truly IS that. This is the way society presents alcohol to young people as a real "party it up, great times!" thing to do. It was a real eye opener and so true.

If you want, please watch the film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6vEe6eenpg . It is an hour long, so just F.Y.I.

amazingly just 20 odd miles away from england in france they dont seem to have the problems with drinking and the young as we do in the uk

they teach there kids to respect booze i believe they take them out for meals etc and let them have a drink of wine or whatever with there meals
were as over here in the uk we look down on that sort of thing and then let our young out when there 18 to find out what drink does to the later on

the Europeans dont seem to have the wild side of booze like the uk does over in spain a popular place for young brits to go they hate what the brits have done to there country turned it from a lovely place to go to a war zone with drunkenness with the young etc

why is it this way ?

This one is one of my favorites. It has great content on the effects of alcohol on the brain in teens.... Alcohol does very scary stuff to you....
