Jo- From the "Old Before My time" BBC documentary
I watched this a few months ago. For some reason I was thinking about her (she's not that much older than me)
Does anyone know what happened to her? did she get her transplant?

Hi soberlife, thanks for posting this.
I hadn't heard about or seen the show, so reading your post caused me to google it and read her basic story. She was 35 at time of filming, and I turn 35 in 3 months. Similar build to me and similar alcohol habits. Having just narrowly escaped a pointless relapse today, I'm grateful to read this and hope she is doing ok too.

This is a bit late, but I saw this post as I was googling related information after watching the documentary on youtube.
Sadle, she died. But 2 years after that documentary? At 37. So maybe she did get a transplant? or was she waiting that long? Who knows.
You can google "JoanneBoyle Middlesbrough Death" for her obituary.
RIP.
