Film that made me think of addiction
Sitting watching a film called click. Adam sandler plays a father that has a magic remote control. He uses the remote to skip n fast forward times in his life to get to the next "important " time. He ends up missing a lot of the important tkmes and loses a lot in his life.
Makes me think of alcohol and drugs they take away more than they give you. He got a special remote control that he could use to skip through time. But in this he missed the good stuff that you get through working through the bad. Like alcohol it only masks the bad times but if u dnt deal with them they're still there. I thnk there's beauty and strength along with great wisdom that can be passed on by working through the bad.
Don't pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a hard one .
Peace.

That movie is a reminder to me of how precious time is and that we must use every moment to better ourselves or better our lives and te lives of those around us. And I completely agree. Well said!
