Day 3
Day 3
Hi everyone
Well here I am day3. Slept much better last night.
Had short time today when I felt a bit lost and empty. I would normally be looking at another binge about now and thinking of alcohol all day until I finally gave in and bought bottle of vodka.
However today is different because now I am here writing to my friends who understand exactly what I'm on about.
Am taking it very easy and letting myself away with eating chocolate and lying on bed reading and sleeping. So far so good. Must get rid of all these guilty feelings about everything!!
Thanks for listening guys

Hi leb!
Day 3 over here too. I am fortunate to still have another 2 1/2 weeks off work to commit to staying sober no matter what, with nothing else required of me. It certainly makes it easier, but I still have to be very careful!
We can do this.

Yay for day 3! And yay for chocolate and rest! I remember feeling so exhausted that first month, and I slept a lot (and ate a lot of sweets too--still do). And the sweet sleep of sobriety was so amazing; I loved snuggling up into my covers
