new year's resolutions A few years ago my new year's resolution was to never make another new year's resolution. It's the only one I've ever kept. But I do have a goal for 2015. Make it to my second year in a row of sobriety. Anyone else have a goal for 2015? |
To not drink! And to read and write more than I did last year :) Also, to exercise regularly. I always get out of the habit in the winter when it's cold. |
Really just not to get too far ahead of myself in terms of my progress, just treat this year as 365 mini challenges, not an exciting plan but a realistic goal with each passing day. |
Thats a good start Lbrain I havnt got a resolution but i try to make each day count... doing small things turns out to be quite a lot in the grand scheme of things |
I have three objectives for this year. Stay sober. Work the steps. Exercise. There's my business and the "rest of my life" to restructure, but my sobriety, and my humility, must come first. Good thread ! |
To stop worrying and catastrophizing. To live in the moment each day. |
Finish graduate school and stay sober! |
Mine is to enter the next decade of my life sober. There's a lot that goes along with that and I'm gonna do it. |
to not make any resolutions...lol they are almost like a ticking time bomb of failure for me, so won't make any. That way I can't fail at something I want or need to do. |
Stay sober, finish my book, get on top of health issues and renovate/redecorate my apartment. |
No resolutions. I just try to live the best I can everyday. |
Stay sober |

Stay sober is first, declutter is second, and third is to lose some weight. Not drinking will help with that, I think. |
i love this saying treat each day as if its going to be your last day on earth as one day it will be. |
