4 years sober.
 

Another irregular update. Four years ago I was drunk as a skunk. I was suicidal and was looking at bridges to jump off. My lack of bottle kept me alive. I woke up the morning of January 8th And decided that I could not carry on like I was and thought their must be more to life than this.

Now I have not touched a drink (or smoked) since, as I approach the 4th anniversary. I know I will never touch a drop again. Nothing to gain and too much to lose.

This site was invaluable to me, long with AA for the first two years. I know longer use this site much due to just never really getting around to it. As for AA it is not for me but is for others.

These days I run (when not injured) and cycle for my therapy. My bouts of depression get less and less. Still have lots of problems with access to my daughters and must go down the legal route this year.

Was going to post on the 8th which is my 4th anniversary but done it now in case I forget for the next 6 months.:lmao
