I have a friend who I met in aa a few years ago we become very close, he just called me from hospital saying his liver is so enlarged it can't get any bigger and the doctor advised him that if he continues drinking he will develop cirrhosis within 6 months, he's only 36-I pry that it will wake him up but Iam scared that he won't stop.. On another note Iam on day 8 and will never drink again! Peace

I hope all goes well for you friend You on day 8 is fantastic! I've been sober for about 9.5 months. It does get easier, what I have found out just recently is that is I think about it I seem to want it more. But that's me!!!
