and it feels amazing to offer to drive! I do it with a big smile on my face because I CAN!

I know, it's amazing isn't it the things that can rebuild your power. I had exactly the same moment over the holiday. Being able to offer to drive and repay the favor and not have to stress about sipping a beer over two hours or feel like the night had been ruined. That drive home is very sweet. Well done.

Good for you! I'm also thankful that I'm able to go for a drive anytime of the day or night if i want to. Just one of many great benefits of sobriety. :)

Nice to hear! I did the same one of the first times I dried out (wasn't committing to quitting at that point) but it was boring. Looking back those people were boring more than anything. People liked me better drinking well I liked some people better when I was drinking too....

Awesome!!!You will laugh at a drunks behavior now until you realize how dangerous they can be , and how much they need help.
