Country music is driving me nuts!
They are not optimal, but I took a 12 hour road trip(x2) with one once and was grateful to have at least that. I live in the south and was traveling into the DEEP south so country music and southern preaching is all you could get, if that. Not hating on anyone who enjoys country music at all, just not for me for 12 hours straight... twice lol
Lol! I had to stop listening to country...it made me want to drink. I'm sloooooowly reintroducing it back into my life. Maybe a half hour once a week. In the first 2 months especially, I would only listen to Native American flute. No words, relaxing...it really helped get me through.

Country music is what accompanied the latter part of my drinking career. I could get drunk, ride my horse ( this resulted in many injuries), drink more beer, listen to country, feed and water the cows, country played in the barn...the car, my house...I had to quit listening. I started listening to New Age music. No words and very relaxing.
