Hang in there mate, it gets easier trust me. Alcohol is a poison, its not meant to be in your body, you dont need it.

I just saw this thread, and I hope you made it through okay. Sometimes I just have to go to bed early to end the cravings.

Don't do it buddy! I'm in the same boat. But you're the king of the wild frontier! Hang in there for the rest of us!

Well I didn't drink a drop. Still have strong cravings, I know this isn't easy as I've done it before and the first time. And I know how tough and strong everyone here is to walk away from the bottle for good. Everyday is a new battle at least for me.

Hey Davey, it was an inspiring relief to read your update.

We all know how overpowering the urges can feel, but they are most definitely temporary.

I am going through them every day myself, but I know that no matter how bad I might feel at any given time, drinking will soon make me feel even worse.

I don't want to know how bad that can feel, so I don't drink. Reading about people like you getting through them successfully really helps me out when I'm feeling the urge to walk to the store and get a bottle.

Please, for your sake and for everybody else who is right there with you, keep up the great work! It gets better!
