1 month and a couple days sober! Yea me. Had a crazy dream last night that I chugged a bottle of wine and then went right for the whiskey. So happy to wake up sober and still counting days. Was hard to shake the feeling that I had started drinking again. I was awake for the rest of the night.

Here's to no more of those dreams.

Those dreams can really be usettling. I've had drinking dreams but in my dreams, I've had a glass of wine and am really upset about it. Like you, I was so relieved to wake up and find it was only a dream.

I havnt had a drinking dream per say but i have had dreams where ppl were trying to get me drunk on purpose woke up like phew

drinking dreams are common i think it strenghtens sobriety as a timely reminder of how bad it would be

Though alcohol was not my problem (I'm a recovering addict), yes, I have had similar dreams.

I woke up in a sweat and all panicked. I was grateful to realize it was just a dream. As my recovery progressed, the dreams have become far less frequent. In fact, the dreams I occasionally have now, I'm in a room with people using and I'm not. All I can feel is "get out, get out".

I have definitely had those dreams. I wake up feeling guilty, stressed and completely overwhelmed. I am so glad when I wake up sober! It's been two years and I still have those dreams.
