When is this going to get better. I was on all pain meds( lots of oxys), anti depressants, almost everything my doctors could perscribe me. I felt like a pharmacutacal company. That was 4 yrs ago. I have been on methadone for a year and two weeks ago i quit my meth. I tapered down to 5mg and 10 mg a day. When will i be able to sleep? I feel like crap, no energy. At least i don't have hot/cold sweats anymore. what do i do and when will it get better?

Congradulations on your 14 days that is great ! I use AA as my means of recovery. I get alot of help and support there and have made some really great friends .Takes a while for our bodies to straighten out a bit . it will get better if you hang in there and dont use. I promise you it is so worth it .Be easy on yourself , rest and drink lots of water . My prayers are with you .. Trish

I finally have an appitite again. I have lost about 5 lbs. Not good for a 5'5" 100 lb girl...going to go eat!!!

14 days... woohoo!
I have been clean for a couple years and my body is still trying to catch up. I still get aches and pains... or maybe I had them all along and just now starting to feel them. The bottom line... it gets better.
It is getting better already... just look at you... 14 days is great. Get involved in NA... work the program... and you will be amazed at how great it gets.
