One more Try
I'm a 57 year old alcoholic. After thirty years of heavy drinking, I'm trying to recover one more time. I've tried AA multiple times. I chose to stop drinking on Christmas day. I'm tired of binge drinking and blackouts. Glad to be here.

Hi and welcome.
I also for too long tried AA without doing anything to get and stay sober until I got sick and tired of being sick and tired and surrendered to AAs action principals. Being undisciplined it took awhile to let go of my old ways and follow the advice given, and there is a gold mine there of it if we are serious and go to work and change the person we drank about.
Our thinking and actions and reactions are needed to be addressed for long term sobriety to work.
BE WELL
