I agree with you, Turtle. My mother was a negative influence in my life, and if I had to rely only on female support, I wouldn't have found any. I'm still not really in a good place when it comes to women telling me what to do. The men in AA were much more likely to get a positive response from me.

I don't think this woman's issue was with FreeOwl. I think she just didn't want to hear one more word on that day. I'm sure she knows that is a popular belief in AA, and it can't be the first time she's heard that viewpoint.
